The Friends of the Northern Rail Trial in Merrimack County has the goal of extending the Northern Rail Trail from Danbury, NH to Boscawen in Merrimack County, NH. Currently the trail has been completed as a four-season trail from Lebanon, NH through Grafton, NH and from Potter Place to the fire station in E. Andover NH, but not yet into the Merrimack County towns of Danbury, Wilmot, Franklin, and Boscawen, NH.
