The 8th Annual “WOW Sweepstakes Ball” sold out early and was a very successful and fun evening. Approximately 500 people attended the event, featuring a buffet dinner, silent and live auction, music and dancing and a sweepstakes drawing with $13,000 in cash prizes. Dom DeCarli and his wife Marci had one of the 300 tickets (lucky # 234) and they were thrilled to see their ticket remain up on the Sweepstakes Board at the very end of the drawing, netting them the grand prize of $10,000. “We love the WOW Trail and really enjoy coming to the WOW Sweepstakes Ball. We were so excited when our number was in the final 10 and then to win the $10,000 is completely awesome. We can’t wait till next year’s Ball!” exclaimed grand prize winner Dom DeCarli.
The proceeds from this year’s WOW Sweepstakes Ball will be used for the on-going maintenance of the trail as well as the design and construction of Phase II of the trail, which will extend the trail from downtown to Belmont.

We're happy to tell you that our key annual fundraiser, the WOW Sweepstakes Ball, is coming soon. Presented by Meredith Village Savings Bank, the 8th Annual WOW Ball will be held Saturday, May 21st at the Lake Opechee Conference Center. Tickets are $100 and automatically put you in the Sweepstakes with a chance at winning one of the ten cash prizes totaling $13,000. We only sell 300 tickets so your odds at winning a cash prize are 1 in 30. The Grand Prize is $10,000!
If you can come to the event you won't be disappointed! Every ticket entitles you and a guest to come to the WOW Ball and includes dinner, live music with Paul Warnick's Phil 'N The Blanks, dancing, a short live auction, silent auction and one of the best parties in the Lakes Region. Did we forget to mention there will be wine tasting and a great Wine Bar?
